Year 6 Public Speakers

Congratulations to our Year 6 students, Christine Jaroslawski and Ryan Pirrone, on their amazing efforts last night at the Rotary Public Speaking competition. Both students have worked so hard at developing their skills and represented our school in a very positive and proud fashion.

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Christine Jaroslawski who was awarded 3rd place in a field of 16 competitors—what an achievement! Her speech on ‘Racism’ was well received by the audience and the judges, and Christine was extremely proud when she was awarded a cheque for $100, a plaque, and another cheque for $100 that she will put towards buying something for our school. Well done, Christine!

Also, a big thankyou to Mr Rook, who spent many hours working with the group of Year 6 students on developing their public speaking skills. The time, effort and continual support you gave the students is very much appreciated.
