As I am sure you are all aware, at Pakenham Springs we have 3 core values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience. In 2020 we are very excited to welcome The Resilience Project, to support the development and understanding of resilience.
The Mission of The Resilience Project is to ‘Teach positive mental health strategies to help people become more happy’. This is done through inspiring and engaging presentations for staff, students and parents as well as a series of lessons and curriculum support.
I would encourage all parents to view their website at https://theresilienceproject.com.au/ and view the following video to develop an understanding of The Resilience Project and what they will bring to Pakenham Springs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2RFkx0-aEk.
The staff at Pakenham Springs are very excited to be welcoming The Resilience Project in 2020. I would strongly encourage all parents to save the date of Thursday, March 19 for what is sure to be an engaging, inspiring and informative parent session from 6:30PM to 8:00PM, with our presenter, Martin Heppell.
