This term, Year 5 and 6 students were taken down to the duck pond to investigate the water quality of our local water sources. Previously the students had been learning about the sewage and drinking water systems and how they relate to our local water.

Students tested for turbidity (water clarity), pH and temperature. Students were also required to make observations of the environment around the pond. Students concluded that the water was definitely not for human drinking but was perfect for ducks to continue to prosper.
