Foundation (Prep)

Prep students get a great start in their first year at Pakenham Springs Primary School. Our Transition Program which supports students understanding of school procedures and expectations, greatly assists the newest members to our school community in achieving this great start.  Our transition program commences in Term 4 of the year prior to commencing at school. New Foundation students attend four classroom sessions to gain familiarity with the school and classroom environment.

At Pakenham Springs Primary School we recognise that the transition from pre-school to school is a big step for young children. We believe that it is important that children feel confident in a school setting to support a positive start to their education.
